Design Glossy Buttons in Photoshop

1. Create a new document of any size, I used small document size of around 250 x 100 with white color background.

2.Make any kind of shape. I will show you the Rectangular Marquee Tool shape. Take any of the size you want for your button. i have used size 162 x 57 pixels for the example.

3.Create a new layer and then fill color of your choice.

4.Fill it with a radial gradient, using colors of your choice. I used the colors #00B204 and #00DC05, a nice green color selection. I then also applied a black (#000000) 1 px Stroke.

5.Hold ctrl and click the layer thumbnail

6. Creat a new layer and Get out the Gradient Tool, then drag a White to Transparent gradient from the top to the bottom like so:

7.create a new layer. Using the Pen Tool Draw a rough circle around the top of the shape as seen in the example

8. Right click the path and click Make Selection, use the default options.

9. Create another new layer and again with the Gradient Tool make a White to Transparent gradient from the top to the bottom of your button, so you get something like this:

10. Change the layer mode for this layer to Soft Light then lower the opacity if needed.
